Memorial

Memorials are a wonderful way to remember a deceased friend or family member. Grave memorials have relatively recently re-captured their status as the primary memorial object for most people. Attaching epitaphs and even names to grave markers is a common tradition. Grave marker today has décor to somehow match the personality and history of the deceased, and grave markers are often emblazoned with special sayings written about or by the person memorialized. Memorials are of different types, size, and color. The memorial can be a grave marker, plaque, headstone, tombstone etc. Special personalized memorials from can use a family photo to create very special handmade memorials. Traditional hand-crafted memorials can be sandblasted or hand-carved with different style lettering and designs/symbols on cuts, shapes, finishes, colors, and textures of granite to create the ideal monument. Styles/shapes include upright headstones, flat/lawn/level markers, slants, bevels and ledgers/grave covers. Photographs or bronze plaques can be added. A crypt or mausoleum can be an ideal way to preserve the memory of an individual or an entire family. Crypt designs are available in a variety of configurations and a walk-in mausoleum can be custom designed for two to eight niches. There are a plenty of new trends in the memorial industry today. Art in Ashes - customers wanting to pay tribute to their beloved family member’s precious memories mail a teaspoon or so of ashes to a painter who then mixes the remains into paint and adds them to a creation. Eternity crystals in which ash is encapsulated into glass memorials, acorn i.e. memorial jewelry are also among popular memorials.
